Consequently, the esoteric discipline would be: the exercise of human willpower together with a work method in order to obtain results of the esoteric kind. Without discipline it is impossible to obtain anything in our horizontal life, and much less in our spiritual one. And anyone who is not minimally disciplined in his horizontal life, much less will he be disciplined in his spiritual life because it requires a higher percentage of discipline in order to break certain invisible ties, which are there and constitute that which is called entropy. That’s because we have against us all the strength of the Kali Yuga.
Precisely, today, besides our very own inner personal hell that we carry inside, there is another hell when we open the door of the house and go out to the street. Then, at present, if we decide not to install in our personal life a rigorous and iron esoteric discipline, it will be impossible to arrive even to the middle of the Path because everything is against the Path; the exterior, what surrounds us and the interior.
